Michelle Shines: Managing Director of International Programs

Michelle Shines has been an integral part of Mustard Seed Communities since 1993, demonstrating unwavering dedication across various roles spanning Jamaica, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and the USA. She spent a year-long residency in Nicaragua, where she spearheaded the establishment of new operations and still leads the operation today.

Michelle played a pivotal role in initiating operations in the Dominican Republic and continues to provide steadfast leadership as the program’s director. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix coupled with decades of management experience underscore her proficiency in navigating complex organizational challenges.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Michelle finds fulfillment in her family life, cherishing her roles as a wife, mother to a daughter, and caretaker of a beloved canine companion.
