Yasanya arrived at Mustard Seed Communities in 2013 at just seven years old, ready to take on the world.
Living with cerebral palsy has presented challenges, but she has never let them define her. In the face of speech and motor difficulties, Yasanya is determined to learn and grow to her fullest potential.

School is where Yasanya shines. She loves learning, especially math, where she eagerly counts and solves simple addition problems. Her greatest achievement so far has been her language development—once limited in speech, she now speaks in full sentences and answers questions with confidence.
Beyond academics, Yasanya embraces life with enthusiasm. Caregivers note that she is always the first to volunteer her help, offer a warm greeting, and brighten others’ days with her infectious smile. Surrounded by a supportive community at My Father’s House, she is inspired to keep improving, pushing herself to master new skills and reach new milestones.

Yasanya is strong, joyful, and unstoppable. She is not defined by her challenges—she is defined by her strength, her joy, and her unwavering belief in what’s possible.
