Meet Fausto

The world can sometimes make challenges seem insurmountable. But nothing is without hope — Fausto’s journey is a powerful reminder that healing is always possible.

When he was young, Fausto was found under a bridge. His grandparent had just passed away, and he was left alone — abandoned and experiencing immense challenges with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. 

Then, when Fausto came into the care of Hogar Immanuel, Mustard Seed Communities’ home for children and adults with disabilities in Dominican Republic, our team discovered he had a broken leg and was in constant pain. 

With love and dedication, our caregivers provided proper medical treatment and ongoing physical therapy to Fausto, addressing his pain and creating a care plan for his future. Displaying immense courage along this journey, Fausto changed his life.
