Give a gift of stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.

Mustard Seed Communities gladly accepts gifts of securities, including stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. By donating appreciated securities, you can avoid selling them and incurring capital gains taxes, while also receiving a tax deduction for the full fair market value. Your generosity, in whatever form it takes, has a profound impact on the lives of the children we serve.

To transfer stock, provide your broker with detailed instructions of the gift that you would like to make to Mustard Seed Communities, including the name of the stock and the number of shares to be transferred from your account to Mustard Seed’s at:

Partner with your employer to make a donation.

If your employer or your spouse’s employer has a matching gift program, your gift to Mustard Seed Communities may be doubled or even tripled. Your employer’s human resources department can supply you with specific instructions about its process for matching gifts. In some cases, a spouse’s company will also match the gift.
